Greeter Ministry: From the time you enter the building until you leave following the service you will experience a warm welcome in a loving and truly caring atmosphere. Our greeter ministry heads are Tommy and Velma Sumerlin.
Usher Ministry: The Holy Spirit has free reign at Grace Worship Center. Services flow more smoothly and in keeping with His will through the excellent help of our ushers. Roger Sliter heads this ministry.
Worship Ministry: Our worship style is contemporary and is designed to enhance your worship experience so you encounter God's presence in a powerful and life-changing way.
Adults
Men's Ministry: Pastor Tom and others minister to the men of the church on the importance of being godly men of character and integrity who lead their families in serving God and providing a vibrant testimony to men throughout the community. Tommy Sumerlin head this ministry.
Women's Ministry: Ministry Head is Cindy Keeping. Cindy meets monthly with the women of the church for fellowship and instruction in the word of God.
Prayer Ministry: Our prayer ministry involves many aspects of prayer including intercessory prayer, a church prayer chain in times of emergency, and the Prayer Partner Ministry. Velma Sumerlin heads up intercessory prayer & the church prayer chain and heads up the Prayer Partner Ministry.
Outreach Ministries
Evangelism & Outreach: Grace Worship Center has several outreaches to the community throughout the year. Some of these are "Servant-Evangelism" outreaches where we reach out to our community in a loving and non-threatening way. We also have "Prayer-Walks" where we will walk through different neighborhoods, praying over the community and leaving an outreach card on each door.
Web Outreach: The purpose of our web outreach is to invite and communicate. We invite you to get to know us at Grace Worship Center in our web pages, in the Grace Audio Files, and in person. We are a real people, serving a real God and one another. Our desire is to reach people with a sincere message of God's love and purpose for living through our people and through these pages. Your GWC Media administrator is Heath Stone.
Children & Youth
Children's Ministry: Jimmy and Dorothy Hunt head "Real Kids" Children's Ministry for K-6th grade up. We provide exciting and insightful ministry to the children using state-of-the-art Power-Point technology utilizing the award winning Nest Family DVD Series and other powerful children's curriculum.
One Harvest Food Ministry
One Harvest: Karen Sliter heads up this exciting ministry. This ministry is designed to help assist everyone with their food needs. People of any income can participate. By participating in One HarvestFood Ministries you can purchase $60.00 to $65.00 dollars worth of quality foods for only $35.00. This is offered once a month and anyone can place as large an order and as many orders as they desire. The food is of high quality and a great value. For $35.00 you can feed a family of four for a week. For more information or to place orders, please contact Karen Sliter at 334-590-8766. We will be glad to assist you with placing your orders or in answering any questions you might have.
